Parisian menswear thriving in the shadow of haute couture

Last fall, I had the pleasure of spending a week in France and visiting a number of craftspeople and artisans, including Cifonelli, Camps de Luca, Berluti bespoke and Charvet. What I found was an industry thriving in part because of, not in spite of, the influence of haute couture.
