Unbuttoned podcast episode six: journalism

“Those were the last days of what they called ‘the junket.’ I traveled for Town & Country from one end of the Riviera to the other. And stayed in every great hotel along the Mediterranean, from Cannes to Monte Carlo.”

Bruce Boyer

Almost fifty years ago, Bruce Boyer left the world of academia to pursue a career in menswear writing and journalism. Since that time, he’s witnessed the fashion magazine industry change from an editorial focus to an “advertorial” one. But he never lost his passion for exploring what and why we wear what we wear.

Travel along with Bruce, from tweed mills in the Outer Hebrides to New York parties with Andy Warhol, in the latest episode of “Unbuttoned – G. Bruce Boyer’s Life in Clothes.”
