Summer trousers from Neapolitan master tailor Pino Peluso

Something I really admire about Pino is that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

This past June, I had the great pleasure of meeting master tailor Pino Peluso in Naples and ordering a pair of summer trousers. My experiences with Pino, and the trousers themselves, are detailed in this article I wrote for the fine French menswear blog The Parisian Gentleman. Which is lovely for a number of reasons: first, it is an honour to write for the site after being a dedicated reader for so many years and second, it was the site’s editors Hugo and Sonya who introduced me to Pino in the first place.

And, as it happens, my fellow Torontonians could have the opportunity to meet Pino in person. He is interested in travelling to Hogtown this fall for a trunk show, if he can garner enough interest. [To be fully transparent, I am not receiving any commission or fee for helping Pino – I’m simply excited about bringing this level of tailoring, and Pino’s warm personality, to our side of the pond.]
